Plot
Palm Royale, Maxine faces challenges as she tries to secure her place in the club. Robert told her that she needed two more sponsors. At the same time, Maxine tries to convince Douglas to drop “Simmons” from his name and embrace his D’ellacourt family background. Douglas explains that he can only receive the D’ellacourt wealth if his aunt Norma passes away.
To get more money, Maxine starts selling Norma’s jewelry. At the club, Maxine feels left out because of her background, but Mary, one of the important members, invites her to the auction. Maxine agrees to buy a table at the auction if Mary sponsors her in the club. Both doubts from others, Mary agrees to help Maxine because the women in the club compete to raise money for charity events.
